COAL CURRENTLY AVAILABLE                

 

New Vale Lignite: Lignite is a cheap coal with minimal heat out put. Peas and domestic nut size.

 

Kai Point Coal: Kai coal is relatively high in sulphur and tends to smell. Not recommended for use on open fires because of the smell. Have peas/nuts and domestic household chunks.
 

Takitimu Coal : Coal with medium heat output, average ash content. Not too smelly. Domestic nut size.

 

Gibbs Blend : Blended west coast coal and lignite. Suitable for both open fires and enclosed burners. Domestic nut size.

 

West Coast Clean Blend – West coast hot and medium coals blended. Suitable for both open fires and enclosed burners. Good hot coals and clean burning. Domestic nut size.

 

Ohai Coal – Premium grade Ohai not always available. Domestic nut size. Phone enquiry welcome.

 

Ohai Coal High Ash – Currently available . Same heat output at premium Ohai but with higher ash content. Domestic nut size.

 

All coals available in 40kg bags

Kai Point,  Gibbs Blend and West Coast Clean Blend also available in 20kg.
